November 8: Tin Umbrella
Cory Hart is an American singer-songwriter/actor. It doesn’t take long, watching a Tin Umbrella show, to see that the man was born to perform. Hart is ever engaging with an uncanny gift to make you laugh, cry, sing, dance and most importantly, forget about everything else. “At Christmas time, when I was a kid, I’d always entertain the family by singing, telling jokes or just making it up as I went. I’ve definitely carried that with me in my career. When I’m on stage, I feel at home and I still make it up as I go.”
At home on the stage since his early teens, Shannon Pickard loves to watch audiences light up. Half of the Texas country music duo Tin Umbrella, Shannon Pickard is living his dream of entertaining people and inspiring lives on stage, screen and everywhere in between. Shannon’s old soul for music began to form when he was just 8 years old, traveling with his parents to Jones Country and Graceland, inspired by the legends, George, Johnny, Willie and Elvis, and captivated by the sight of thousands of people showing up just to watch someone sing.
