2019 Sunday Lawn Concert Series

Every Sunday April through mid-November, about an hour before sunset, enjoy an outdoor lawn concert with great music and relax with your family and friends. At sunset, we stop the music and raise a toast to life and love! The winery is open for tasting and purchasing wine by the glass or bottle.

Reserve a table or bring your lawn chairs and come relax with us under century-old native pecan trees. We have an assortment of cheeses, snacks, dips and crackers available in our tasting room. Gourmet artisan cheese platters are available to order and a variety of local food trucks will be on site. You are welcome to bring your own picnic baskets.

No outside alcohol allowed, it is against TABC Law to bring alcohol onto the property. Please, no high back lawn chairs or canopies that blocks view of the stage or pop-up tables larger than 12x24”.

For more than three decades, Texas singer-songwriter Shake Russell has been entertaining audiences throughout the region with his unique, Americana style of folk-rock. A prolific songwriter, Shake has written or co-written hundreds of melodies. Through the years, Shake’s songs and albums have frequented the Billboard charts, with many, including “Deep in the West,” “You’ve Got a Lover,” “Put Yourself in My Shoes,” “One More Payment,” and “Our Kind of Love” being recorded by such distinguished artists as Waylon Jennings, Jessi Colter, Ricky Skaggs, Clint Black, and Carolyn Dawn Johnson. His repertoire consists of a blend of love songs, ballads, and waltzes, skillfully balanced with lively rockabilly tunes and soulful rhythm and blues pieces.

How do you say “Acoustic Southwestern Americana Musical Guitar Genius” in just two words? Michael Hearne, that’s how. Since the 1970s, this native Dallas Texan has strolled down a musical path inspired by the great folk and country singer-songwriters who typify and have characterized the Americana “roots” scene.

Both Shake Russell and Michael Hearne have been awarded the Singer/Songwriter of the Year by the Academy of Texas Music Awards! This will be a night of singin’, pickin’, jokesterin’ and all out entertainment!

Their music transforms us back to the early 70’s and yet the love affair with these groups continues with the release of their newest award-winning CDs!
